April 3rd 2001 Two new cycle stands at The Vine, High Street, Newport.
April 11th 2001 Cycle & Bus Lane + advance stop line at Wootton High Street
April 12th 2001 New 'railway style' gateway to Cowes - Newport Cycleway at Dodnor
June 12th 2001 Cycle Lane + advance stop lines at Long Lane traffic lights, Newport
June 25th 2001 Four new cycle stands on a build out in Union Street, Ryde. (2 were later removed in 2004 and replaced by a seat!)

July 7th 2001 Numerous cycle stands now installed in Newport including the Quay Arts car park, outside Lloyds TSB and HMV.
September 2001 Advance Stop Lines and cycle lane approach at Morton Common/ Perowne Way traffic lights, Sandown.
March 2002 Two cycle stands on new buildout at Regent Street/Clarendon Road junction, Shanklin.
July 2002   New cycle stands in many locations around Ryde Town Centre as advised by CycleWight.  (2 removed in lower High Street - flattened by lorries!)
May 2003  Cycle stands  have now been installed at 'Dinosaur Island' on Sandown seafront although the building has been open for nearly two years!
June 2003  The Newport to Sandown Cycleway opens providing an eight mile traffic free route from Shide to Perowne Way, Sandown connecting Merstone, Horringford, Newchurch and Alverstone.al cycle stands  have now been installed on the east side of Union Street Ryde.
December 2003  Phase 1 of Newport town centre traffic plan opens with new bus and cycle lanes around St James Square.al cycle stands  have now been installed on the east side of Union Street Ryde.
March 2004  Phase 2 of Newport town centre traffic plan opens with contra flow cyclelanes at Nodehill and Trafalgar Road.al cycle stands  have now been installed on the east side of Union Street Ryde.
